About
The Illinois Leadership Council for Agricultural Education (ILCAE) was officially organized on March 7, 1985 as a volunteer, grassroots agricultural industry group representing all segments of the agricultural industry within Illinois focused on the expansion and improvement of Agricultural Education programs at all levels.
ILCAE is primarily an advocacy group working in collaboration with the Illinois Committee for Agricultural Education (ICAE) for the purpose of ensuring continued fiscal and administrative support for the Illinois State Board of Education's Agricultural Education programs. ILCAE is responsible for the vision of Agricultural Education thru the Illinois Agricultural Education Plan that is implemented by ICAE.
